During COP26, some world leaders have discussed the new ways to make a global transition. In the startups’ world, some projects have been created with the business and sustainable in mind. Find some of those greenest projects in the UK.
The Bulb, 100% renewable energy
If we talk about startups and the deal with transition ecological, we need to mention “Bulb”. “Green energy for all”. Based in London, this startup provides 100% renewable electricity and gas, with 100% carbon-neutral too. The Bulb dynamic is “simpler, cheap and greener”.
We provide all our members with 100% renewable electricity. For every unit you use, we make sure a unit is produced and put on the grid by a renewable source including solar, wind and hydro. Plus, our gas is 100% carbon-neutral.

The startup offer a service web with the “Bulb Account ”, where the customer could follow and understand his consume. This tool is very interesting for the costumer balance, and “to lower their bills”, said the community manager of Bulb. And it's important for climate too, to enable and to make caution with using and to stop waste.
The Small Robot Company
For the farmers, Small Robot Company is a good example for the future of food production sustainable. Founded in 2017 by a farmer, Watson-Jones and an entrepreneur Scott-Robinson, create the startup of the purpose to help farmers:
The overwhelming feedback from farmers is that farming is not working. Yields are stagnating, machinery costs are rising, and profit suffering.
With their robots and artificial intelligence, they want to offer an ecologically, efficient and profitable farming. They propose a robot that could be mapping and monitoring the field, for reducing soil compaction.
The Tokamak
About energy solution, the Tokamak Energy is one of the best one. Nuclear energy could be dangerous for environment and for us. Despite risks, for the fusion energy, the results of some countries studies shows that “fusion can be a very safe sustainable energy source”. The Tokamak is pioneering commercial fusion energy. The company mission is to offer a « clean, economic and globally deployable ».
The Yourdaye
A little different but interesting to think about “women necessities” and “new ways to adapt our consume”. When you think about environment changes, we think about society's consumption but not about our personal consume. Nevertheless, the change need to be made in our daily also. That is the purpose of that “Yourdale”, in their period, women can think about their sanitary products: How to have an eco-friendly period ?

Beryl cycles
The COP26 give a space too for thought about our means of transport. Some companies’ cars have today the new ideas to reduce the carbon footprint.
For Beryl Cycles, the most great example to reduce the carbon footprint is to improve and find new alternatives of transports. Or, update these that exist yet, as the bicycles. The purpose of this startup is “remove the barriers that exist to cycling in cities”.
